Meet the Speaker: Lauren Norman
Lauren Norman is a Senior Product Manager at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC), focusing in Population Health. She works with major customer groups throughout the organization to create strategic IT Solutions for the tracking and management of key patient populations.
Lauren believes that having a collaborative relationship between operational and technical teams is essential for success in any endeavor. In Population Health specifically, she knows it is critical to focus on the overall goal of providing efficient and effective care to large groups, while still meeting the individual needs of each patient in a population. Additionally, she believes that the satisfaction and engagement of those doing the work is vital to developing long-term solutions and positive outcomes.
Lauren Norman recently led the implementation of Healthy Planet, the suite of EPIC tools that facilitates population health management at VUMC. She has directed several initiatives in VUMC’s previous homegrown EHR, StarPanel, including quality measure data capture, chronic disease management, and external data integration.
