About
At WiTT, we connect women with a community that believes in and advocates for them. We established the WiTT Member Mentoring Program to match our early-to-mid-career members seeking mentorship with more senior-level female and male leaders. Through the program, we hope to grow the pipeline of females assuming tech leadership roles in Middle Tennessee.
FAQ's
What's the time commitment?
The program will last for four months (May- August) and will be a mix of events organized by WiTT and one-on-one mentoring. The main focus is the one-on-one meetings approximately 2 times a month throughout the duration of the program. These meetings can be virtual or in-person. Mentors and mentees are free to continue meeting beyond that timeframe if desired (in fact, we're hoping you will!)

Mentor expectations:

Women and men working in technology-related professional, management, and executive positions

Actively participate and support WiTT

Be a current technology practitioner

Be willing to commit to the mentor program for ~4 months
Mentee expectations:
- WiTT members looking to advance in their technology-related careers
- Individuals willing and able to commit to the program for its duration

How will mentors and mentees be matched?
Both mentors and mentees will submit applications. WiTT will review the applications and make matches based upon similarities in backgrounds and career interests/aspirations.
