Outreach

We are looking for mentors for WiTT’s Collegiate Mentoring program beginning this Fall and running through Spring 2021. We are hoping for a variety of experience and tenure. The school’s participating are Belmont, MTSU, and Lipscomb. For more information reach out to mentors@wittn.org.

Black Lives Matter.

WiTT’s mission is to promote all women in technology, regardless of race or national origin. In Middle Tennessee, 36% of tech workers are women, while only 10% of tech workers are Black or African American. We know we can and must do more to amplify the voices of Black women and women of color in our community.

We have formed a committee to focus on this initiative and take action to improve diversity in our membership, student outreach, scholarships, and leadership. We welcome your input as we identify ways to ensure inclusivity and promote diversity. After all, that is what we do. Please send your suggestions to pres@wittn.org.
