Back in 2018 I joined Nashville Software school with the desire to change my career to a tech-based career. I was fortunate to get the Nashville opportunity tuition program through the school. This program allowed students to attend the school and pay the tuition fee after graduation with no interest. While I had two months left to graduate, I also received a scholarship through WITT (Women in Technology of Tennessee) which allowed me to pay 30% of my outstanding balance from the program. Getting this scholarship was a huge lift of the financial burden for my family and me. The scholarship offer came at the right time as it encouraged me to pay the remaining outstanding balance quickly after getting a job. I was also able to finish and accomplish my goal on time because of the scholarship I received from WITT.
